Conference attendees and their guests are invited to dinner and an evening at the Grand Rapids Public Museum, located adjacent to the conference location. Michigan’s oldest museum, the Grand Rapids Public Museum holds the most diverse collection in the state, with three floors of exhibits on the history, science and culture of West Michigan and beyond. Special exhibits focus on the history of Lake Sturgeon and current rehabilitation efforts; the story of the Native American Anishinabek people in Michigan; the natural environments of West Michigan; and Whales: Giants of the Deep, a unique blend of science, storytelling, and innovative interactivity featuring the latest in international whale research, including two fully-articulated sperm whale skeletons. This event includes dinner, cash bar and complete access to the museum. There is a $20 charge for the event.

Sponsored by the Great Lakes Commission and partners from the Great Lakes consulting community.
